Discrete quantum square well of the first kind

► We propose a new exactly solvable schematic model of a quantum system. ► We address the problem of Hermitization of the Hamiltonian matrix H. ► All the necessary metrics in Hilbert space are constructed in closed form. ► Some of the necessary metrics are constructed in simpler, sparse form. ► For the latter metrics the conditions of necessary positivity are clarified.
