Abstract
Utilizing the Hirota bilinear method, an N -soliton solution for a (2+1)(2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation is obtained. Further, generalized double Wronskian determinant solution and rational solution are constructed by resorting to the Wronskian technique.
