Abstract

In this Letter, an impulsive control scheme is presented to control two uncoupled identical Rössler systems. By driving the parameter of Rössler systems using external chaotic signal or periodic signal, chaotic synchronization and periodic synchronization can be implemented. This is a special impulsive control, but by using the existing results of impulsive control theory, a less conservative estimation of the upper bound of the impulse interval is given, which can guarantee the global asymptotical stability for the impulsive synchronization of Rössler systems. Numerical results are in accord with our estimation.
