Abstract
Analytical transfer matrix method (ATMM) is extended to calculate the penetrability and the barrier distribution of the multichannel system. With the increasing of the number of channels, the interaction energy ε, or the coupling strength f0, there are some effects in the penetrability and the barrier distribution: the separations among the eigenvalues become smaller when we increase the number of coupled channels; the velocity of the convergence in the penetrability is slower and the strengths of peaks in barrier distribution change when the interaction energy ε gets larger; the separation between peaks in barrier distribution become larger when we increase the coupling strength f0.
