Abstract
In this Letter, the problem of the fault-tolerant control (FTC) of chaotic systems is investigated. A time-delayed integrity controller is proposed to ensure the stabilization of unstable periodic orbits (UPOs) in the case of sensor failures. If some parameters are chosen suitably, this controller can effectively stabilize UPOs for possible sensor failures. The famous Lorenz system is illustrated to show the effectiveness of this controller.
