Abstract
We investigate the light transmission through GF(m,2j+1) mutilayers and find that the propagation matrices and the corresponding transmission coefficients exhibit interesting properties. When m is even the propagation matrices are four-cycle and the transmission coefficients are two-cycle, and when m is odd the formulae have been obtained but are very complex. The analytical results are confirmed by numerical simulations.
