Abstract
- We model BN/graphene core-shell quantum dots from first-principles.
- Zero-energy states of BN/graphene QDs are spin-polarized.
- Spin-polarization of BN/graphene QDs is dominated by graphene domain.
- Hubbard model within mean-field approximation is implementable in these QDs.
- Liebʼs theorem still holds in BN/graphene QDs.
