Integrable deformations of integrable Hamiltonian systems

► New necessary conditions for the integrability of nonhomogeneous potentials are found. ► They follow from analysis of the differential Galois group of variational equations. ► The case of potentials which are sum of two homogeneous terms is considered. ► As example polynomial perturbations of linear oscillator are analysed.
