Abstract
⺠New necessary conditions for the integrability of nonhomogeneous potentials are found. ⺠They follow from analysis of the differential Galois group of variational equations. ⺠The case of potentials which are sum of two homogeneous terms is considered. ⺠As example polynomial perturbations of linear oscillator are analysed.
