Abstract
With a view to understand the ground state of charge ordered sodium doped neodymium manganites, electrical and magnetic studies were carried out using different measurement protocols and is found to be ferromagnetic. The anomalous low temperature behavior was explained by hindered first-order transition with glass like arrest of kinetics.
Research highlights► Electrical and magnetic properties of Nd1−xNaxMnO3Nd1−xNaxMnO3 manganites were investigated. ► The ground state of these materials were investigated using CHUF protocols. ► Unlike divalent doped manganites these materials exhibit ferromagnetic ground state. ► The anomalous behavior in low temperature region is explained by kinetic arrest.
