Abstract
Within the effective-mass approximation we calculate the energies of a donor impurity in an elliptical quantum ring subjected to a magnetic field. The energies are found to exhibit Aharonov-Bohm oscillations depending on the magnetic field and the eccentricity. As the eccentricity increases, the energies decrease and the period increases.
