Abstract

Meromorphic traveling wave solutions of the Kawahara equation and the modified Kawahara equations are studied. An algorithm for constructing meromorphic solutions in explicit form is described. The classification problem for meromorphic solutions of autonomous nonlinear ordinary differential equations is discussed.
