Abstract
Suppose that we have two entangled states |Ï1ã, |Ï1ã that cannot be converted to any of other two states |Ï2ã, |Ï2ã by local operations and classical communication. We analyze the possibility of locally transforming a superposition of |Ï1ã and |Ï1ã into a superposition of |Ï2ã and |Ï2ã. By using the Nielsen's theorem we find the necessary and sufficient conditions for this conversion to be performed.
