Abstract
By solving the BCS and Bethe-Salpeter equations, we confirm the result by Chu and Chang that a secondary peak appears in the optical absorption spectrum immediately after the 1S-exciton peak in the presence of a condensed phase. The observation of the secondary peak indicates the presence of exciton condensate.
