Abstract
In this Letter, we study generation of entangled states in a system of a double quantum dot (DQD) interacting with a quantized cavity field. The DQD and the cavity field are treated as a two-state charge qubit and a continuous-variable system, respectively. We explicitly create hybrid entangled states between the DQD and the cavity field. DQD–photon entanglement dynamics is investigated in terms of the concurrence. It is shown that the DQD–photon entanglement evolves periodically. It is indicated that the initial state of the cavity field can control and manipulate the entanglement dynamics.
