Abstract
The propagation of a pulsed optical high-power beam through an optical media whose nonlinear response includes third and fifth order terms has been studied. The self-defocussing effect of free electrons caused due to plasma formation is also considered. Spatio-temporal three-dimensional bright solitons are observed both analytically and numerically.
