Abstract
The magnetic drug delivery system (MDDS) is a key technology to reduce the side effects in the medical applications. We proposed the new magnetic force control system that consists of superconducting magnet, high temperature superconductors (HTS) tapes and iron blocks. In this study, it was confirmed that the control of magnetic field gradient was possible by arranging the HTS tapes and iron blocks on the superconducting magnet. In addition, the multiple racetrack HTS magnets were proposed in order to generate the high field gradient along the longitudinal direction.
