Abstract
Wereporton magnetic properties (coercive force and remanencesquareness) of Ni nanowire arrays embedded in self- assembled alumina templates with pore diameters of 20 and 40 nm. We study magnetic behavior of nanowires both theoretically and experimentally in configurations when an external magnetic field is rotated in-plane and out-of- plane of the sample substrates. Spatial distribution dependent in-plane magnetic anisotropy behavior of the Ni nanowires is explained.
