Abstract
Transport of organic solvents (ethanol, propanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol and water) through the nanostructured glassy polymer poly[1-(trimethylsilyl)-1-propyne] (PTMSP) was investigated. Measurement of liquid flow through the membrane was carried out by novel dynamic pressure decay method (DPD) [1]. This method let to measure permeability of this material in extremely wide ranges of temperature 30 – 90 ̊C and pressure 10 – 200 bar. Convection and diffusion transport of organic solvents was observed for the nanoscale pores.
