Abstract
Several pentasil-type zeolites with different Si/Al ratios and different channels dimensions have been dealuminated in acidic medium by conventional heating and under microwaves for comparison. Microwaves led to faster dealumination than conventional heating, and provoked differences in the acidic and surface properties of the resulting samples.
