Abstract

By applying the optical second harmonic generation (SHG) measurement to the polymer-based organic light-emitting transistor (OLET), we directly visualized the electron transport in poly(9,9-di-n-octylfluorene-alt-benzothiadiszole) (F8BT) film. The electron mobility in the F8BT film was directly estimated from the observed carrier motion as 6.3×10-4 cm2/Vs, which was faster than that estimated from transfer curve of the OLET.
