Abstract
Here, we describe proof-of-principle transverse-field μSR photoexcitation measurements of Si above room temperature. It is found that, as with low temperatures, the optical excitation does indeed create relaxation of the Larmor precession signal. There is no evidence of multiple states within the precession signal, as was observed in Ge below room temperature.
