Abstract
Equivalent doses (EDs) obtained for heated quartz grains using the red TL [RTL] signal (multiple-aliquot additive and regenerative dose technique) at the LPC laboratory are compared with EDs obtained from the blue TL [BTL] signal (using a SAR protocol) at the LSCE laboratory. The grains, extracted from detrital sedimentological layers, were zeroed by volcanic eruptions (Chaıˆne des Puys, French Massif-Central). The intercomparisons involve samples annealed in the laboratory and subsequently irradiated at three different doses (47, 165 and 284 Gy), as well as a young (∼14ka) and an older (∼40ka) volcanogenic samples.
