Abstract
⺠Variations of soil-gases composition is studied at two different faults of Taiwan. ⺠Tectonic based model for earthquake forecasting in Taiwan was proposed and tested. ⺠Selection criteria to identify threshold earthquakes have been defined. ⺠Stress/strain transmission for earthquake may be hindered by tectonic settings.
