Abstract
Studies using thick targets irradiated with heavy ions having total energies EtotalEtotal above 10 GeV reveal some new features when solid-state-nuclear-track detectors (SSNTDs), nuclear chemistry, neutron counting techniques and emulsion investigations are used. Some of these results constitute unresolved problems which the authors are unable to interpret using available codes.
