Abstract

The (pseudo)rapidity distributions of particles produced in nucleus–nucleus collisions over an energy range from Dubna to RHIC are investigated by the cylinder models. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data and it was found that the thermalized cylinder model is good at the description of the pseudorapidity (or rapidity) distribution in nucleus–nucleus collisions at the Dubna, AGS, SPS, and RHIC energy domains.
