Abstract
This paper explores the dosimetric quantities used in the field of radiation protection for radiation workers and the general public. This paper also discusses the regulatory limits on these quantities that are based on recommendations by national and international organizations. After introducing radiological quantities, the organizations responsible for recommending and enforcing regulations are discussed. This paper concludes with a discussion of the actual radiological limits.
