Abstract
⺠Luminescent properties of two olivines samples (Mexican and Spanish) were explored. ⺠EDS show different iron and magnesium content and traces of rare elements on both. ⺠Olivine exhibits spectral CL emissions of low intensity due to the quenching of iron. ⺠Treatments at 1100 °C change the mineral structure and its response to UV radiation.
