Abstract
⺠Gamma ray initiates acrylamide polymerization resulting in increase of viscosity. ⺠The viscosity change can be determined with a wireless magnetoelastic sensor. ⺠A relationship between frequency shift of sensor and gamma radiation dose is given. ⺠The linear range of determination is 0-50 Gy with a detection limit of 0.25 Gy. ⺠This method has the advantage of real-time, continuous and in situ measurement.
