Abstract
The features of photoresponse spectra and luminescence in the ultraviolet range of A3B2Ga3O12A3B2Ga3O12 (A—RE ions, B—Ga or Sc) garnet crystals are considered. These crystals are characterized by the wide-band luminescence with nanosecond decay time. In the case of Gd-garnet the emission transition (near 380 nm band) H7/26→P7/26 of the Gd3+Gd3+-ions is proposed as possible one.
