Abstract

A calculation of the flux of components during cadmium telluride evaporation in a quasi-closed volume (QCV) geometry was carried out using transport theory, taking into account possibility of existence of convective and diffusive components, depending on the temperatures of substrate and evaporators. The calculated values of adsorption flux on substrate for two alternative models, approaching the extreme cases of their equilibrium, have been used for the modeling of the ensemble of point-defects (EPD) in films by the method of quasi-chemical reactions. It was shown that the processes of mass transport substantially change the value of components flux in a gas phase. The suggested model allows us to predict the properties of films obtained in the QCV.
