Abstract
The main result in Rezaiyan et al. [Rezaiyan R, Cho YJ, Saadati R. A common fixed point theorem in Menger probabilistic quasi-metric spaces, Chaos, Solitons & Fractals 2008;37:1153–7] is proved under two (necessary) additional conditions.
