Abstract
In this paper, by virtue of q-deformed hyperbolic functions, the variable separation solution with two variable separated functions of the (2Â +Â 1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt equation (BKKE) is obtained. Based on this variable separation solution, soliton fusion and fission phenomena among semifoldons are investigated.
