Abstract

The entanglement dynamics in an atom–field interacting system is investigated by considering both the atomic motion and the field-mode structure. Entropy exchange, which is regarded in recent years as a form of anti-correlated behavior between the field and the atomic subsystems (Boukobza E, Tannor DJ. Phys Rev A 2005;71:063821), is explored. The relationship between entropy correlations and entanglement is discussed. Agreement with the measure of entanglement of the coupling system is found. Our results show that the behavior of the entropy exchange is not dependent on the atomic motion and the field-mode structure.
