Abstract
Ever since Peter Higgs formulated the Higgs proposal in 1964, the search for the Higgs boson is one of the most important tasks in high-energy physics. The aim of the present short review is to summarise an important previous work on the calculation of the mass of the Higgs boson. Different mass formulas are pointed out and compared with each other.
