In the present paper, we investigate the source-free Maxwell equations in a spatially closed FRW Universe with cosmologic dust. We employ a very convenient compact timelike coordinate f ∈ [0, 1], that characterizes the whole big bang–big crunch spacetime history cyclicly evolving with a 2π conformal period. Using the particular source-free Maxwell field generated by a rotationally symmetric potential A, solution of Maxwell equations and satisfying the Lorentz condition, we obtain the magnetic induction and the electric field intensity. Finally, we point out the θ = const-surfaces which are allowing TE modes. For a suitable choice of the integration constants, we derive a particular irrational value of f, corresponding to a fractal-like sequence of cosmic moments.
