Abstract
In this paper, an SIR model with two susceptible groups is proposed and analyzed on complex networks, where contacts between human are treated as a scale-free social network. The basic reproduction number R0R0 is obtained, and it is established that the disease-free equilibrium is locally and globally asymptotically stable if R0≤1R0≤1, otherwise disease-free equilibrium is unstable and there exists a unique endemic equilibrium, which is globally asymptotically stable. Finally, the numerical simulations verify our conclusions and some discussions of vaccination strategies are done to suggest that a promising way for the control of infectious diseases.
