Abstract
⺠We study the existence of shock waves for a model in radiation hydrodynamics. ⺠We show rigorously the existence of such solutions. ⺠We determine sufficient conditions for the presence of jumps. ⺠We determine a threshold for non-monotone temperature profiles.
