Abstract
⺠High-resolution turbulent channel flow direct numerical simulations. ⺠Dissipation and enstrophy moments depend on wall distance and Re number. ⺠Conditional analyses based on vortical structure locations. ⺠For large Re, dissipation and enstrophy show relatively small variations for z+ greater than 100.
