Abstract
⺠A new Lax pair for an integrable system associated with the real Lie algebra so(p,q).⺠Proof of integrability of the system: Involution of invariants, Independence, Casimirs. ⺠A symplectic realization of the system via a Flaschka transformation of a Toda type system. ⺠A second Lax pair obtained by modifying the standard Toda lattice pair. ⺠Generalizations of the system: The periodic case and systems associated to arbitrary signs in the potential.
