Abstract
												⺠We study extremes in deterministic chaotic dynamical systems. ⺠We consider observables similar to those found in physical applications. ⺠Extreme value limit laws depend on the fractal dimension and on the local geometry of the observables. ⺠We obtain a formula for the general case and a different formula for the specific case of the Lorenz63 system.
