Abstract
⺠We study a model of the mammalian biological clock with an external Zeitgeber. ⺠Our main question is how this clock is able to synchronize with the Zeitgeber. ⺠The heart of the mathematical model consists of a circle map. ⺠We find synchronization depending on parameters in the model. ⺠We link the parameters to biologically observable quantities.
