Abstract
⺠A fluid layer in a normal electric field is considered. ⺠A PDE governing the propagation of interfacial waves is derived. ⺠Travelling wave solutions are obtained as a function of Froude number. ⺠Numeric results are plotted. ⺠Conditions on Weber number and Bond number for existence of solitary waves are obtained.
