Abstract
⺠We develop a numerical method for steady state 2D unbounded acoustic problems. ⺠A new type of shape function is introduced in the Variational Theory of Complex Rays (VTCR). ⺠The performances of the method are assessed on several examples and compared to the Boundary Element Method (BEM).
