Abstract
⺠Wave reflection from fiber-reinforced elastic layers is shown to be non-unique. ⺠Transformation optics is applied to elastodynamic waves in the time domain. ⺠The approach works in a broadband range and uses passive metamaterials. ⺠The mass density is scalar, and the elasticity tensor is supersymmetric. ⺠Layers which trap a considerable part of incident shear wave energy are described.
