Abstract
⺠Ï-3 Dietary intakes in western countries are too low to meet brain DHA requirements. ⺠Human studies suggest that dietary Ï-3 help the brain cope with ageing. ⺠Ï-3 Modify stress responses, glutamatergic neurotransmission and glial reaction. ⺠The cerebral impairments due to ageing could thus be relieved by dietary Ï-3.
