Abstract
⺠Ageing of the population is a global pandemic that impose biomedical and socioeconomic challenges. ⺠A national priority supporting Human Ageing Research is key to improving quality of life of elders. ⺠The immunologic milieu of elders is substantially different from young adults and children. ⺠Innovations in immune interventions for the elderly will have to be age-specific.
