Abstract
A new ECL detection system equipped with an electrically heating controlled microelectrode as the working electrode was established in this paper. The electrically heated microelectrode was made of a platinum wire (25 μm in diameter, 6 mm in long). Linear scan voltammetry has been applied to investigate the ECL behavior of luminol on the heated microelectrode during cathotic scanning. Good sensitivity and reproducibility for measurement of the ECL of luminol could be obtained at the heated microelectrode.
