Comments on a new parametric algorithm for isothermal flash calculations by the Adomian decomposition of Michaelis–Menten type nonlinearities

•RADM, an effective variant of ADM, has been used to solve the Rachford-Rice equation.•Like ADM and unlike Newton-Raphson, RADM too does not require an initial guess.•RADM is superior to ADM as only a few terms are needed to get more accurate results.•Unlike ADM, RADM does not require any convergence accelerating technique.
