Abstract
The new experimental apparatus was constructed for gas solubility in a nonvolatile liquid. The solubilities and saturated densities of carbon dioxide in glymes (diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, triethylene glycol dimethyl ether, and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether) were measured at 313.15 K without any analysis of phase compositions. The measured solubilities and saturated densities were correlated with the three parameter pseudo-cubic equation of state. Furthermore, the density and viscosity of glymes were measured at atmospheric pressure.
