Abstract
This study is aimed at evaluating the applicability of the Jouyban–Acree model for predicting the solubility of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in binary and ternary solvent mixtures at different temperatures by employing a large solubility data set. The solubility is predicted in solvent mixtures at different temperatures within an acceptable error range based on the experimental solubility data of PAHs in mono-solvents. The results reveal that the Jouyban–Acree model could be recommended for practical applications in chemical industries.
